Geminid Night

Any member wanting to attend this Observing session,can see either Karl or myself at the December 6th meeting this week.

Oh Yes - arguably the most reliable shower (ZHR-wise)
Thursday 13th December, with a peak ZHR of 120 predicted for this year.

We're also looking at an altenative site a little closer to home, for sessions where we won't be setting up large scopes, or for times when the weather is suspect...
Not quite as dark as our usual site, but looks like it might be reasonably good.
Duane's already done a preliminary recce, and the pair of us are having a longer look in the dark, tomorrow night - If suitable, we'll arrange the Geminid night for this spot.
