We had our inaurgural meeting last night 11-10-12 at the New Bishop Auckland Fire Station,the turn out was really good.We had two new members joined our ranks,they were both new to the hobby.Peter Rush Radio Presenter from Bishopfm whom Karl and myself have a monthly spot on his Saturday Brunch Show,talking about everything Astronomical.We are both indebted to him for all the help he has given us.
Warren our other new member came along looking for advice on which Telescope would best suit him.Most members helped him on this,my thanks go to Karl who gave Warren some very valuable information to help him make his choice,Karl also drew various Telescope designs to show him how much Telescope designs can vary,and also how they work.
Again my thanks to everybody.
